Tutorial #215 – How To Add Google Analytics To WordPress

One of the very first things you should do when you have a new website is link it to Google Analytics. Even if your site is 10 years old, do it today. Why? Because it can give you great insight into how people interact with your site.  It can give you stats on traffic, keywords, time of day, month or year that you are busy or slow and so much more.

Google Analytics is a free tool from Google and you can have it up and tracking data within minutes. In this tutorial you will learn about some of the basics stats you can get from Google Analytics, how to add it to your WordPress site and a few hints/tips on how to use the data to market better.

    Great video Tracy. I already have Google Analytics installed but I stilled learned a lot from your video, such as the Google Analytics Dashboard. I have not taken the time yet to know all the benefits and tracking that is available by using this useful tool, until now.
