How To Optimize Images For Your Website

twiddling thumbs….

Last week my sister was creating a newsletter for her website (therapeuticdelight.com) and she only had very large images to use. She is by no means a techie, like me :) but she did give a great shot…

The images she was uploading her newsletter were quite large and she didn’t know how to optimize them so that they were smaller and more web friendly.

So, being a busy entreprenuer, mom, wife…etc…I didn’t really have time to show her how to do this and it’s kind of difficult to do if you’re not both in the same room looking at the screen Plus, she doesn’t have a copy of Photoshop which is what I would use.

So nevertheless…I found her a great little tool to use…and thought you might want to know about it as well, as I know many of you do manage your own websites and may run into this same problem.

Here’s the tool:

And I made a little video to show you how to use it…although it is pretty straight forward.

This way she doesn’t have to be a “techie” like me….but can still have a great looking and fast loading newsletter and website for her readers.

Enjoy…
